Yale Day of Service
Each May the annual Yale Day of Service attracts hundreds of local alumni(ae) and friends who participate in many activities that help local causes and strengthen our links to our community and our fellow Yalies!

Community Service Fellowships
Each summer YaleBOSTON is the financial sponsor and host for undergraduates who have receive these fellowships. Students engage in innovative projects around Boston during an 8 week stay.

Yale Book Award
The Yale Book Award is presented to an outstanding junior at select high schools in the Boston area. The award is part of Yale’s commitment to recognizing academic and personal excellence and to encouraging potential candidates for admission. Local alumni(ae) sponsor the awards and often present the award at their local high school or at their former high school.

Yale Tutoring
Yale graduates have been loyal supporters of the “Saturday Academy” tutoring program at the Excel Academy in either East Boston or Chelsea.

Yale Food Bank & Clothing Drive
Many Yalies have volunteered at Harvest Food Pantry in Cambridge on either the 1st or 3rd Saturday of the month.
Yale Boston Scholarship Trust
The Trust was founded in 1926 to help provide scholarship funds for Boston area students. Our local board selects recipients from a group of eligible candidates supplied by the Office of Admissions. Our trust funds are managed by Yale and are our contribution towards Yale’s “need blind” admission policy.
